February
Well, January came and gone and I don't even know what we did. We were suppose to go to California at the end of January to February 8th but Keith's vacation got cancelled. We got his vacationed rescheduled and $500 later we got our tickets changed. Luckily, I bought the trip insurance and Jet Blue refunded the change fees since Keith is Military and can not control his vacation time. On February 3rd we took cupcakes to Luke's class and a goodie bag, and later that evening we had a bowling birthday party with mostly church friends. We had 13 kids and 10 adults all bowling and having a good time. Luke is obsessed with angry birds, so he wanted an angry birds themed party and cake. I took the monumental task of making an angry bird cake. I did a pretty good job and it was a hit. I have been pretty busy planning Relief Society activities and getting things ready so we can leave on our trip home.

December 2011
We started out December with our annual trip to Bass Pro shop for a picture with Santa. Luke was dying to open presents Christmas Eve morning, so we started with ones from Uncle Chris and Aunt Rachel. Later that day we skyped my family and he was able to open up the gifts from my family and chat with them while everyone was toghether at my aunts house. Christmas morning I told Luke he had to wait until his dad gets home from work to open his gits from Santa. I was worried he was going to be up at 5 waiting, but he did not get up until 6:45 and only had to wait 20 min for Keith to get home. After a wonderful Sacrament meeting at church we went to our friends the Shorr's for Christmas. We had snacks, opened gifts and a wonderful meal. We had the best Christmas celebrating with our "family away from family" friends, next to actually being with our families. Being married to a firefighter in the air force makes difficult to go home for Christmas!!! Maybe next year! Our good frinds the Brown's took us on the USS Gorge H W Bush air craft carrier. We had a good time as he showed us around. It had just got back from it's first at sea deployment at the beginning of December. We had a fun visit from Keith's aunt and uncle from Baltimore to end the year.
