4th of July

We started our day with a pancake breakfast, followed by dinner with our good friends the Brown's, then to the craziness in Newportnews to watch a firework display, and ended at our good friends the Staryer's to light some fireworks. Overall, it was a good day and night!!! The only thing missing was family.

June 2012

We started June with the Blackbeard Pirates festival, Grandpa and Grammy Murphy with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Barry coming to visit, Luke graduating kindergarten, ending with Keith graduating ALS training and putting on Staff Sergent.

March and April 2012

We were able to take a family vacation to California in early March. We spent several days at Disneyland, made a trip to legoland, and celebrated my birthday. This trip was about doing the things we wanted as a family and not visiting all of our family. We ate lots of our favorite foods and even ran into old friends from when we lived in Arizona. While we were there, Luke lost his first tooth. We were lucky it happened after we got home from Disneyland. We took the red eye home and had a few day to recover. We ended March with a base unit egg hunt. April- we had the primary Easter activity/egg hunt, and a fantastice Easter dinner with our fabulous friends!!! We did an egg hunt and a bubble party for the kids that day.
